The Los Angeles City Council held a special session on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 in order to honor Ronald F. Deaton for his outstanding service to the City of Los Angeles.  The council  issued a resolution that the City of Los Angeles will commemorate Ron Deaton’s great service to the City by naming the auditorium at the new Police Administration Building as the Ronald F. Deaton Civic Auditorium.
